Crew Applications

The Foundation accepts applications for new crew members from January 1 through early spring each year. If the enrollment link is no longer present, our crew roster for the season is full. In that case, we encourage you to try again next year or consider joining as a non-crewing member. Non-crewing memberships include complimentary seats on regularly scheduled sails from May through October, and your membership fees directly support the upkeep of the Schooner Suva.

New Crew Registration

You must be least 18 years old or 16 years of age with a parent, and be physically capable of mild exercise, such as raising and lowering sails. You are also required to sign our drug-free workplace compliance policy and pass an initial drug screening.

If you are applying for the first time, please select SUVA CREW NEW. The $180 fee covers:

WIMHF Membership
Maritime Consortium (drug testing) program participation
The one-time USCG-required new employee drug screening
